Royal Docks website design and build, brochures and national advertising
London's Royal Docks is a spectacular development opportunity in the heart of East London, with 122 hectares of prime waterfront land available within shouting distance of City Airport, Canary Wharf and the City. This is London's last major regeneration opportunity, and there is already strong interest overseas.
GardnerQuainton were asked by developers Knight Frank and Drivers Jonas Deloite to create three websites to bring alive the extraordinary possibilities Royal Docks offers. We designed the sites with a crisp
contemporary urban style, then built and launched them, optimising two of them to work effortlessly on mobiles. Clients were provided with secure areas and their own logins to keep files safe.
We also created brochures for each site, and press and digital adverts which appeared nationally.
For the aerial footage which appeared on the websites, we commissioned FlyingTV, ex-Radio 1 DJ Mike Smith's company. We edited the footage ourselves, overlaying the aerial views with stylish text and graphics and combining them into two short, sharply edited, high impact films. We also translated the Royal Albert Docks brochure into Mandarin to support the heavy marketing of the opportunity abroad.
The impressive levels of resulting interest show that the combination of visual style and clear information is delivering the goods.
