Orchard Estate is an environmentally responsible builder who use sustainable materials and technologies that reduce the need for energy in the home. Born out of a research and development project for the Carbon Trust, Orchard Estate champions the ‘green home’ and wanted their branding to embody this philosophy. We answered the brief with a stylised logo and an evocative strapline to symbolise the company name and business rationale.
The successful branding led to a complete redesign of their website into a fully responsive, fresh, uncluttered, easy to navigate platform that implied resource conservation. A series of monochromatic icons now visually directed the user to relevant pages; concise messaging informed but didn’t swamp with facts. An online blog is regularly updated by us with posts and news and does wonders for Orchard’s page ranking.
